Plastic surgery is a highly specialized area of medicine dealing with the mind and body. I believe the goal of cosmetic plastic surgery should be to bring one's self-image and body-image into better balance; and by so doing, improve one's self-esteem.
The success of your elective cosmetic surgery procedure is greatly dependent upon the plastic surgeon you choose. Each aesthetic (cosmetic) surgery patient has his or her unique reason for pursuing surgery, and it is a very personal one. Some patients are motivated to alter an undesirable physical feature either inherited or acquired, while others simply want to refresh features that have aged over time. My initial consultation with you and subsequent visits will focus on your concerns and expectations. I will make every effort to lend a sensitive ear to your needs. Over his many years in practice, Dr. Kincaid has been actively involved in teaching plastic surgery residents at Stanford University and the University of California at San Diego. He has participated in numerous volunteer medical service programs both at home and internationally.
Dr. Kincaid has a strong commitment to family having two sons and a daughter. He has resided in north San Diego County since 1988. In his spare time, Dr. Kincaid pursues many other interests including photography, golf and chess; and he enjoys traveling with his family both in the U.S. and abroad.

Dr. Kincaid performs his cosmetic surgical procedures in nationally accredited surgery centers and hospitals including Mary Birch Hospital for Women, Scripps Memorial Hospital and Sharp Memorial Hospital. These facilities are state-of-the-art and fully equipped to ensure your comfort and safety. The personnel, M.D. anesthesiologists, RN staff and operating room technicians, are highly trained professionals attentive to your special needs and privacy. Elective cosmetic surgery is generally more economically performed in a surgery center environment. However, if your medical condition or requirements for extensive multiple procedures dictate, Dr. Kincaid is prepared to perform the surgery in one of his affiliated hospitals.
At these facilities, Dr. Kincaid offers the very best in plastic surgery equipment and supplies including FDA approved facial implants and breast implants with extended warranty programs, Sciton erbium laser skin resurfacing, endoscopic (minimal invasiveness) instruments, and P.A.I. (power assisted liposculpture) equipment for more efficient and refined body contouring. The new On-Q post-op pain relief system is available upon request to minimize your discomfort following surgery.
POST COSMETIC SURGERY RECOVERY FACILITIES:
Dr. Kincaid's staff can arrange for your post cosmetic surgery recovery at Casa Palmera. This unique and beautifully appointed recovery facility is located in the exclusive Rancho Santa Fe area of north San Diego County. Palmera offers private rooms with hospital beds, special dietary needs; fully trained and friendly nursing staff to meet your medical needs--all at an affordable cost. You may stay one or more days as you and Dr. Kincaid determine to be necessary. We can also arrange for patient ambulance transport services from the surgery center or hospital to Casa Palmera to ensure a safe and smooth transition.
