LASER HAIR REMOVALLaser hair removal is the use of a laser to remove unwanted hair from your face or body.
Laser hair removal is a new treatment for an old problem. Hair grows in cycles. For many patients, one treatment will provide up to six months without hair. If hair does grow back, it is generally finer and lighter than previously. We recommend three treatments over three months. This should treat hairs which may not have been actively growing at the time of the initial treatments. There are reports that this method of treatment has reduced hair growth for up to 18 months. It seems likely that this would be permanent.
Laser hair removal is generally painless. However, to insure this, we recommend the use of a cream which is applied about one hour before the procedure, which anesthetizes the area(s) to be treated.
After treatment, the area often appears bruised or covered with areas of discoloration. In dark skinned patients, there may be blisters. These areas generally resolve within about 24 hours.
Some patients report a burning or tingling sensation in the area that has been treated. This is treated with ice packs or cold compresses and generally resolves within a few hours after the procedure.
If you have other questions, please feel free to schedule an appointment.

WHAT IS BOTOX? A Botox treatment is a simple, non-surgical procedure that smoothes the deep, persistent lines between your brows that developed over time. One ten-minute treatment - a few tiny injections - relaxes the muscles that cause those lines to form and keeps them relaxed up to four months. Botox has been widely tested and now it's approved by the FDA.
The results are dramatic and apparent within days. In clinical trials nearly 90% of the men and women surveyed rated the improvement of their brow lines as moderate to better. For many, Botox virtually "erases" these lines.
Unlike surgery, Botox is fast, simple and minimally invasive with no downtime or recovery. Most people return directly to work or normal activity following treatment. Within days, they report looking more natural and relaxed.
When considering your facial aesthetic options Botox is quite affordable. According to the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery 's 2000 survey, Botox is one of the least expensive facial aesthetic procedures, ranking seventh of the nine most widely used procedures in the United States.
BREAST REDUCTIONThis surgery will reduce the size of a woman's breasts. It will also reshape them, but this is not its main purpose. If you wish to reshape your breasts, you should consider a mastopexy.
Most women who desire breast reduction have other symptoms in addition to their large breast size. These symptoms include back, shoulder, and neck pain. Surgery is performed to relieve these symptoms.
This surgery is performed in the hospital under general anesthesia.
Most patients spend one night in the hospital after the surgery.
Breast reduction surgery is not cosmetic. The incisions leave scars which may be quite noticeable. Other risks include bleeding, infection, loss of nipple sensation, and inability to breast-feed. All of these risks are not common.
Pain from this surgery is easily controlled with pain pills.
